Chiang Rai Walking Street opens on every Saturday, from 16:00-24:00. It takes place on Thanalai Street at the middle of Chiang Rai downtown. A good places to go shopping and finding something to eat after the sunset. There are many foods, souvenirs, and traditional items for sale.

Chiang Rai Night Bazaar is located at the center of the town often crowded with travelers who come for varieties of local or hill tribes souvenirs. People also enjoy with many kind of shows and food here.

Singha Park is both a farm, a park and a zoo. On the farm side, there is more than two hundred acres of oolong tea plantations, vineyards, fruit fields, and greenhouses for various vegetables; on the park side, flowers of various colors are planted here.

Wat Huay Pla Kang in Chiang Rai, also known as “Big Buddha of Chiang Rai”, is known for its enormous white statue of Guanyin. The recently built temple sits on a hill in the rural area North of Chiang Rai town.

Wat Rong Suea Ten, better known as the Blue Temple, is a Buddhist temple that stands out from the others because of its sapphire blue color.

The Wat Rong Khun was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai visual artist. A unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun.

Baan Dam is the work of Thai artist Thawan Duchanee, The Black House is a complex of 40 buildings, most made of dark teak wood. In Thai known as Baan Dam, meaning Black House, the buildings house a collection of paintings, sculptures, animal bones and skins.

Tham Luang cave has been well known from the operation to rescue trapped 12 young footballers and their coach. The rescue operation was supported from both domestic and international cooperation. And after 9 days, the Thai cave boys and their coach were finally out at last, safe and sound.

Doi Tung is the location of Doi Tung royal development project, Mae Fah Luang Garden and Doi Tung Royal Villa (former residence of Princess Mother Srinagarindra). Besides that, on the peak of the mountain is where one of the most sacred double pagodas, Pha that doi tung, are located.
